About Us

Mission

Dayspring is a church committed to Coming Together in Discipleship, Encountering God in Worship, and Reaching Out in Evangelism.

History
Dayspring Assembly of God was established in 1994, meeting first in the home of founding pastor, Bill McKee, Jr., and then in the Knights of Columbus facility on 71st street, just off Keystone Avenue. A couple of years later, we renovated a warehouse that is now our current location.

Our pastor from 1999 - 2001 was Rev. E. Anthony Sluzas, who was followed by our current pastor, Paul Miller.

Dayspring is a church committed to Coming Together in Discipleship, Encountering God in Worship, and Reaching Out in Evangelism.

Affiliation
We are an Assemblies of God affiliated church. The first meeting of the Assemblies of God was held in Hot Springs, Arkansas in April 1914. This meeting brought together some 300 church leaders. Apprehensive about creating another denomination, those attending agreed to form a loosely knit fellowship of independent churches. So began the General Council of the Assemblies of God.

Currently there are nearly 12,000 A/G churches in the U.S. with over 2.6 million worshipers, and a worldwide presence of 50 million people
